Kim Gary Needs To Buck Up

One of my favourite restaurants in KL is Kim Gary. I absolutely like the wholesome taste of rich, cheese-baked rice and their twin-sauce rice.

In fact, I'm so boring that I hardly ever order anything else when I'm there. No, I should say...I NEVER order anything else when I'm there. (Perhaps that explains why I can buy 2 pairs of the exact same shoe - refer my previous post).

Anyway, I went to Sungei Wang recently to get Stephen his BIRTHDAY PRESENT (Stephen's birthday post - coming soon). Dropped by Kim Gary for a bite first and ordered the twin-sauce rice without hesitation.

Firstly, the food took rather long to arrive and secondly, when it finally came....

Look at the condition of their dish plate!!! SHOCKING!!!

Urgh

Their food is good, no doubt about that - but could they make some effort at least in terms of cleanliness and presentation??? Much as I like Kim Gary, I now have second thoughts on whether to ever go back to the Sungei Wang branch.

I'm utterly disappointed with the management for being so lax and seemingly unaware of such a situation, which I as a consumer, will interpret as being unconcerned.

you buy the same pair of shoes, you eat the same thing in the same restaurant. Hmm, the '90's aunty' ( 90's because the current aunties are more adventurous than us) tag is gonna stick on you soon. :P :P

The quality of food here is about the same level as what i produced last time in uni....

Even the color and taste of it is similar (which is not saying much about the place)

C'mon so called hong kong culture? (gimme a break)

Real hong kong food is not like this...
